Syan's crayons.
It took me a year to get her to let me photograph them.
It was as if I was going to EAT them.
I'll leave that to her I think.
1. How to sew a pencil case for your binder (tutorial)
Here's what you'll need:
Piece of vinyl cut to 10" x 10"
scraps of vinyl for your motif of choice and for your tension swatch
8" zipper
exacto knife
rotary cutter
zipper foot
3/8" grommets
painter's tape
I've got many great bags, but this Briggs & Riley medium brief is the absolute best when I have to fly internationally for architectural projects. Aside from drawings, my passport and Wayfarers, it always includes: 13" MBP, iPad Pro, my calming Sennheiser headphones, eye mask, business card holder, Kingston USB drive, Sonnenleder pencil case and an invariably useful handkerchief. Add my TravelPro Int'l. Crew Carry-on Rollaboard and everything becomes seamless!
→ Estuches de Kogepan de San-X! Me encaaaaanta! XD Me da mucha risa su historia, aunque sin duda a él no le parece divertida en absoluto.
Y lo entiendo, a mí también me amarga no ser bella como los pancitos bien hechos, haha!
→ Kogepan pencilcases from San-X! I looooooooove him! XD I enjoy his story, eventhough he doesn't think it's amusing at all!
But I understand him... I'm also bittered cause I'm not as pretty as those well baked breads, haha!
The contents of this pen case might seem somewhat familiar to those who took a look at my photostream. I now use those pens and pencil almost exclusively for mind-mapping since I now scan the IT books I used to use them on.
What´s In My Bag again? Yes I wonder what´s in it... I think I must be the person whose bag contains THE most boring and uninspiring objects seen by man !!

Made this fun pouch using a tutorial by the talented Aylin here:
aylin-nilya.blogspot.de/2013/04/sleeping-bag-pouch-tutori...
See how at the top of the pouch the zipper is a smooth curve? It's such a great look! Since I didn't have a piece of "endless zipper," or "chain zippper," as it's also called, to create that look, I used a long zipper from one of those clear vinyl bags that blankets are packaged in. I cut off the stops on both ends of the zipper, then upzipped it completely, taking the zipper pull off. The I used one half of the zipper for this pouch, which I had to make somewhat smaller than the tutorial says. I cut my fabric 7.5" wide by 9" tall and used a 24" piece of zipper. It would have been a bit easier to put the pull on later if the zipper had been a couple inches longer, though.
In her instructions, Aylin tells how to use a regular zipper, too, so you don't need a super long one.
I made the hexie pull with two 1/2" hexies and a short cord sandwiched between then. I used two pieces of Steam a Seam Lite (like Wonder Under) to hold the pieces together so I could hand stitch around the edge.
There are different rules for reading, for thinking, and for talking. Writing blends all three of them. (Mason Cooley)
