This car cost $6000 in 1914, which would be around $141,600 today based upon rthe CPI change.
Peerless Rockville was celebrating Montgomery County Heritage Days with a walking tour called "Rockville Rocks!" It was fun and very informative. Eileen, the executive director of Peerless Rockville, talked about the history of the buildings, while Jeff Nagy (I hope I got his name right) talked about the geology of the area and the building materials.
We walked along Montgomery Ave. past the Beall-Dawson House, a historic house and museum. There was stuff going on there but I didn't go back to check it out.
The Geiser Manufacturing Co, Waynesboro, PA (Pennsylvanie)
Geiser a fabriqué des moteurs à essence, il y a eu un autre constructeur (Cleveland, Ohio) qui produisit des véhicules nommés Peerless, les deux entreprises ne semblent pas liées.

(Srinagar, Kashmir, India)
Children play in the last remaining daylight at Shah-e-Hamdan mosque.
The end of the each day at this uniquely gorgeous wooden mosque sees the same batch of youngsters yucking it up like it's a school playground. Overall, the atmosphere in the courtyard is warm and the always friendly Kashmiris, particularly the youths, are forever curious to interact with foreigners.
Another round of archived photos (on the weekends) has returned. The focus for the past several weeks has centered around a batch of Kashmir photos I'd accidentally misplaced and only recently rediscovered.
