Went far a walk along the shore hoping for a sunset but it didn't get any better than this. I was hoping that when the sun was below the cloud level it would light up the clouds from underneath but another bank of clouds decided to spoil the fun!
I played with our parrot's food for the group Looking close on Friday's theme "food peels".
I will be out of town for a family wedding this weekend. So, I apologize ahead of time if I get behind with comments and such. I'll do what I can to catch up with everyone as soon as I can. I hope all have a fabulous weekend!
A piece of old soap which I kept, just in case. It was originally a peeling soap and had rough little things inside, not sure what they were made of. I placed it on an equally rough bottle with LED Xmas lights inside which became my light table.
The soap is now 1 1/2 " long on either side.
This fence and landscape had such a vintage feel to me. Taken in the town of Mendocino on a rainy day. The rain had stopped long enough for me to get a quick shot of this fence with my cell phone.
Not much to say about this photo. Just a window on a Greek island that i thought it should be okay to post today to follow the Window Wednesday theme. The texture on the weathered wood was somehow fascinating. It's always nice to see and feel the effect of time and weather on anything man made.

Had a chance for a few photos tonight, hoped the sunset would develop but a big bank of cloud came instead!
A bit disappointed to find that my sensor has not been cleaned when the camera was in for its repair!
It's a birch tree, and the bark is coming off all over the trunk. Fascinating structure. I doubt if this kind of tree used to be used for making canoes or a surface to write on. But there are other kinds of birches.
Thank you for looking. Isn't God a great artist?
