Great Tit taken last week in St James`s Park. Still plenty of greenery there. Dreadful light hence the high ISO.

Just think its funny how the house's look like they are just peeking over the beach to see what's going on :)

Note to self: When strolling in the woods remember to look up occasionally. Barred owlets.

A couple of puffins just arrived for the spring and summer in Grand Saltee, in the south of Ireland. I guess they were looking for the best place for their nest. I think this one is the she. Mr Puffin was exploring just a little further.

Smile on saturday - pink & blue.

The very curious Basil photographed at British Wildlife Centre, Lingfield on a photography day.

This American Mink kit stopped running for a second to check out Bandit and me at Lake Galena. Peace Valley Park, New Britain PA.

This sow and her two cubs were quite a ways downriver from camp. I love how the little one in the middle was peeking at me from between its mama and sibling. Such cute little faces they have.

10:52 Out of focus...on purpose, not just because your camera moved while shooting!

I found this one hard. I must have shot 20 different images. Nothing made me happy but this one - which is a bit of a cheat :)

I just love finding these little Canada goose goslings in the spring. When they hide underneath mama, I always hope they will peek out like this :-)!

Chipmunks are awesome!

Squirrel peekaboo is very much like the human version, but the cheeks get fatter with every pop up.

When we first spotted this female polar bear we were not sure if she had cubs because they were hiding behind her. Then came the moment one peeked its head up and I had my first glimpse of a wild polar bear cub :-)!

Having finally got the shots I wanted at Corfe about this time last year I was itching to do it again. So a couple of inevitable failed attempts, and a few frustrating mornings where I have been laid low with a horrid flu bug.

I now just rely on the Met Office app, if it's showing a sunny day preceded by moderate visibility around sunrise then its a good bet.

Climbing up West Hill with a hacking cough was hard but it was totally worth it!!

I hope everyone is having a great Easter.
