After having worked the Peavey elevator, the road switcher returned with nothing but five cars to show for it. Josh and I were hoping that it would eventually make a run over to Cut Bank but we had no such luck; it tied down for the day shortly after this photo was taken.
The abandoned Peavey Grain Elevator near Henderson, Minnesota. The building is the last standing in the former community of East Henderson.
Starting off my series of 2022 Guitar Tuesday themes with my favorite guitar… the Eddie Van Halen Signature Peavey Wolfgang Guitar.
One of my ambitions in 2022 is to really get my studio set up and cleaned up. I have so many guitars in their cases, just stacked on the floor (which doubles as my workout room). I have equipment stored and cables still zip tied together. Little by little I plan to get it fixed up, and be able to post more video in the New Year.
That's it for now... take us out, Wolfie...!

De superbes bois, un manche super agréable , des sonorités polyvalentes tout en restant typées rock : ma préférée du moment !! ;-)

One of my many pride and joys, a Red Flame Top Peavey Wolfgang Guitar, signature guitar of the master, Eddie Van Halen.
Figured, since I had the lens and ND filter already affixed, why not another shot.

Spent a little bit of time in the studio today… I’m going to miss playing while in Colorado so very much!

Wolfie- my pride and joy.
A long story of her background, but she is one of a limited edition Signature Eddie Van Halen Wolfgang guitars. This girl LOVES to play loud and fast, and I am very happy to oblige!

Ex Milwaukee Road GP40 2066; now CP GP40-3 4007 slugs cars form the BNSF back to Stinson. 4007 has been hanging around the Twin Ports for a few weeks now.
dug this one out from 1998 of the SW-1 at Peavey Elevator on Connors Point in Superior, this view pretty much explains why there was no coupler on the rear of the locomotive. Apparently at some point in the past this loco lost control and had hit the old steel bumper on this track and dented the ship they were loading at the time.
former C&NW SW-1 #1279, in Peavey paint working the old King Midas flour mill in Superior, it would later be traded to ILS and get repainted, looking much better than it did in this view
My Wolfie turned 21 this past Saturday, but I was not able to bring her out to play… what better day to come out and play than a Guitar Tuesday?!?

As a yoga/dance class breaks up at Peavey Plaza in Minneapolis on a hot Summer night, participants get their final stretches in.
The problem with playing this Wolfgang guitar, is that she wants to be played with the volume cranked up- and that doesn’t bode well for 2:30 AM in this house. Still, because I have to go into the office, I thought I’d get my music in early!
Song of the day:
316 by Van Halen (the only Van Halen song you can play without cranking up the amps!!)

I always get that tingling of joy when I open a guitar case to see a guitar I have not played on in a while. I have detailed memories of every guitar and when I got them, and the immense joy that comes over me when I so. It's like Christmas for guitar players.

I had a huge presentation due today, and after it was all said and done I rocked out a bit and then went out for drinks with some friends… thank goodness that is behind me now!

This elusive (at least for me) Peavey SW1200 No. 1201 sticks its cab out of a dumping shed at Gavilon in Superior (former Peavey elevator, built by C&NW). As we approached on the USCGC Alder I noticed the worker in the cab run over to the dock and snap a shot of us with his cell phone.
