Red Barn, Hood River Valley, Oregon

I caught a ride with a couple of peeps to make our way out to the pear orchard for sunrise. This is the 3rd year I've tried to capture that red barn but have missed the peak blooms until this year. I finally hit it at the right time this year. It was a fun morning spent with a couple of good peeps.

from our own tree, there are two buckets full to process!!

The pears are all lined up for the party! Are you?

One of my entries for the photo contest i've been working on since weeks. In my language we mostly call the lightbulbs a different name : "lightpeach" Using this as a starting point i thought it would be a pretty funny idea to line them up next to each other and take a picture! :)

From Saturday's bag of pears. They won't last long as this variety (honey pears) are delicious!

I use the ProCam app on my iPhone to produce good quality Tiff images. I edited this image using Lightroom 5 and then Photoshop Elements 11 on my PC.

I use Dropbox to transfer my photos over to the PC, as its wi-fi aerial doesn't work ... it's getting old like me. :-)

I took a photo of this blackbird and a photo of the pear with snail, and combined them. Textures, thanks to Jerry Jones. One texture from Kim Klassen, thanks!
