Ruby (to the right) came back to the stable with her mare Agee*. Lillibet and her new stallion Peanuts, were anxiously waiting for them.

Lillibet: I hope they will like each other.

Ruby: Don't worry. Agee is a very polite girl who likes everybody.

"Now let's see what the horses actually think."

__

Agee: And Who are You!?

Peanuts: Oh my! Marry me and share my bucket!

Agee: Now hold on to your bit young sir and keep them eyes to yourself. And your bucket.

Peanuts: You are the most beautiful mare I've ever seen.

Agee: Uh huh! And just how many other mares have you met? You're not even dry behind your ears yet.

Peanuts: Ha! I've seen plenty! .... Alright, just my mum, but what a mare! And I'm four years old mind you.

Agee: *dryly* Impressive. I'm fourteen.

Peanuts: Impossible! You don't look a day over seven.

Agee: Save it young lad. We already have a stallion here in Weedy Meadow. His name is Dallas** and...

Peanuts: Show me this Dallas! I will out-gallop him at once!

Agee: He is a Barbie horse with posable legs. You don't stand a chance. He can trott like no other.

Peanuts: Bah! I laugh at posable legs. Who's Babrie anyway?

__

Lillibet: Do you think they get along?

Ruby: Oh absolutely. See how she flares her nostrils? That means she's happy.

__

Agee: I demand a new stable!

It always looks darkest just before it gets totally black.

Sometimes you lie in bed at night, and you don't have a single thing to worry about...That always worries me!

Lucy: You learn more when you lose

Charlie Brown: Well then I must be the smartest person in world!!

Yesterday I was a dog. Today I'm a dog. Tomorrow I'll probably still be a dog. Sigh! There's so little hope for advancement.

Of all the Charlie Browns in the world, you're the Charlie Brownest.

Hands up if you like Snoopy and the Peanuts cartoons!! This is just an experiment but I thought you'd like to see it anyway! JJ showed me a video at the weekend of how to create your own Peanuts character! So based on what I saw I created JJ, me and Tim, as cartoon characters! I had a plan to take it further, but the scanner isn't working at the moment, so I'll need to fix that before I try the second experiment!!

Blow it up and look around - lots of interest!

Jay Junior has mastered the single peanut hold. I haven't seen him tackle one in the shell.....yet.

Since my earliest childhood I love the peanuts, Peppermint Patty is my preferred character, she is just cool and has the property to look over certain things easily...

Lucy I love because of her obsessive love for Schroeder and her shrewdness, sometimes because of her hardness.

I used to have the little Linus in a kinder surprise. An absolute stroke of luck!

I wish you a nice Monday!

Eurasian Jay with at least 3 peanuts in its beak about to fly off to stash them for the lean winter months.

Apparently they can fit up to 9 acorns in the gullet and one in their beak for transportation, but on average take 3 at a time.

I’m getting back into old school analog watches because the world is collapsing and I need a very specific hobby to beat back the horrors. This Peanuts Todd Snyder X Timex is a nice addition to my growing collection of odd ball watches. I’ve been lurking on r/Watches on Reddit and it’s amazing how many people post about their first real watch. I guess it never occurred to me that many people have only ever had a smart watch or just used their phone. I’ve been a life long hoarder of strange watches. Maybe I’ll post a photo of my Eggo dinosaur watch tomorrow.

Picked up these “Date Books” by Determined Productions last year. Most feature phototype revivals of wood type, as was popular in the 1960s–70s. I also have a bunch of their small square cookbooks and Peanuts books. Will post soon.

surprised he got peanuts to grow, but there it is, new and green and growing towards the sun.

I used to give the birds peanuts on a platform feeder on the fence, but it fell apart, so my old birdbath that cracked is now the new feeder.

I could hear a tiny chipping sound and I knew it was him. I have been bringing him peanuts so when he sings out I place them in his favorite spot and in he comes.

2 different styles but same theme: personalised Peanuts pictures!

With this version, I drew the figures of us three in pen and then scanned it to the computer, where I coloured it in on Photoshop.

Mary's Peanut's Christmas display, 2012. The new Sony RX100 has a neat auto-pan feature; you just sweep left to right and it takes 12-20 pictures and stitches them together automatically. I always welcome something that simplifies my workflow!

I hope everyone is having a fun and safe day!

We used about 10 bags!

I had some fun piling up the peanuts and eating the subjects after taking the pictures :-)))
