This little red squirrel found a bowl of peanuts on the deck and decided to help itself. (I'd taken the peanuts out earlier for Skimpy and the blue jays.)

When I came home,after having enjoyed one of the most beautiful mornings this year, and went to the kitchen to make me a nice cup of coffee I saw this green visitor in the back of my garden. Turns out he had two friends with him. Young ones I think
Was standing by the patio door wondering what to shoot for today.. whether I should go out for some LE's or do a SP.. but, it was really windy, so didn't know if my camera would stay steady enough during a long exposure..
Anyhow, while I was by the patio door, I saw this squirrel stand up against the door as if asking for food. At first, I neglected it, but then opened the door and threw some peanuts at him. And then thought, why the heck not take a couple of shots if I can.. maybe I can use them as a back-up if nothing else pans out.. so, threw a few more peanuts until I got a shot I really liked..!!
Turned out to be a win-win situation for both of us.. he got the food and I got the shot.. :)

Raimey was late getting out this morning. When Giselle saw me coming down from that end of the building, she ran right up to me. She is not just begging for peanuts any more.
