I swear its not an instagram filter. Working on an editing technique that gives it a cold and harsh feel. Trying to simulate a picture that was slightly overcooked in a darkroom, as well. Again, high-rez perfect for your desktop background! Feel free to copy, distribute, edit, claim credit for, steal, show your parents, take to school, write fan-fiction about, and generally use however you want. I won't report you to the cyber police, I promise.

An addition to the Archangel seen on the left is the Peacemaker, an elegant fighter for peacekeeping purposes.

Taken from a photograph in the President Jimmy Carter museum. Out of all of the "Official" photos, I loved this one the best. What a dear, dear man.

This is almost a direct copy of Crayonbricks' version of this suit. I know he sells his own stuff on Ebay, Etsy and more but I don't know if these were stolen from him or if he sold the designs, someone bought them and re-sold them or what. They are very well printed, whoever I bought them from.

Convair B-36 Peacemaker at Castle Air Museum, central California. 384 of these massive bombers were built in the early 1950s, but with its six 28-cylinder pusher-prop engines (and 4 jets) it was obsolete almost before it saw service. Only 4 remain in museums, the rest were scrapped in the early '60s. The largest bomber ever built, it never dropped a bomb in anger.

Traumatized at a young age by watching the suicide of his Nazi father, Christopher Smith would eventually join the US military. He was an exemplary soldier, until he was court-martialed for slaughtering a village full of innocent people. He was offered an ultimatum: he would join the top-secret anti-terrorism squad Project: Peacemaker, or he would spend his life in a military prison. He, of course, chose the former, even calling himself Peacemaker. His sanity slowly deteriorated, and he hopped from shadowy government-orchestrated team to shadowy government-orchestrated team until he was killed by Eclipso.

Fun Fact: Peacemaker started out as a Charlton Comics character alongside the likes of Blue Beetle and Captain Atom, before DC bought the rights to their biggest characters. Alan Moore intended to use Charlton's characters in his magnum opus, Watchmen, but DC didn't want to essentially burn their new toys right out of the box, so Moore instead created analogue characters in their place. Blue Beetle became Nite Owl, Captain Atom became Doctor Manhattan, and the Peacemaker became the Comedian!

I popped this guy out in response to Xenomorph79's minifig challenge, using pieces I had already. I've got a torso picked out for an upgrade, but I didn't wanna wait too long and am in a rough spot financially. Regardless, I hope you enjoy this absolute lunatic!

Another fig that needed some attention. This one I like as it kinda resembles a hybrid mix of a space juggernaught & one those early atmospheric diving suits. I attached an M1919 to the Gatling for some kickass backup.

What I found most remarkable about folding this model is the number of unusual sinks. Finished size is 10" (25.4 cm) long, about the same as the real thing.

Peacemaker - Civil War

A evil shadow danced before your eyes, whispering truth, yet you turned away. Its echo trembled through cities and towns, but you muffled its call. Change looms like a storm; but you seek shelter in fleeting distractions. Fear seeps in, relentless, until you stand at the edge. Fight, for surrender is defeat. Embrace the inevitable, for in facing it, you find your strength and your destiny. With heart pounding, you must faced the fear. Victory lies in courage.

You can see how realistic it looks next to a replica pistole.

This is my second fold, this time I folded it much better than my first try and I am very satisfied with the result.

: ) This scene brings back so many memories! Recently our family went out on an all day fishing trip, but i must confess I did more clicking than fishing, although we did catch 6 huge red fish and that was a rush! Not to mention incredibly delicious! We came home, immediately cooked them on the grille and savored every bite! Wish you were there : ) !

If you have never eaten fresh fish right after it's been caught, and you like fish, you may want to put this experience on your bucket list! : )

Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend my awesome Flickr friends : )

“A lot of people ask me if I were shipwrecked, and could only have one book, what would it be?

I always say 'How to Build a Boat”~.........~ Stephen Wright (American Actor and Writer, b.1955)

“When the tides of life turn against you and the current upsets your "boat", don't waste those tears on what might have been, just lie on your back and float.”

“We may have all come on different ships, but we're in the same "boat" now.”

Martin Luther King, Jr. (American Baptist Minister and Civil-Rights Leader. 1929-1968)

“Only the guy who isn't rowing has time to rock the "boat.” ~ Jean-Paul Sartre (French existentialist philosopher and writer, 1905-1980)

“Noah was a brave man to sail in a wooden "boat" with two termites.”

“Compare society to a "boat". Her progress through the water will not depend upon the exertion of her crew, but upon the exertion devoted to propelling her. This will be lessened by any expenditure of force in fighting among themselves, or in pulling in different directions.”

Henry George

“Tears are a river that takes you somewhere…Tears lift your "boat" off the rocks, off dry ground, carrying it downriver to someplace better." ~ Clarissa Pinkola Estes

“You cannot sink someone else's end of the boat and still keep your own afloat.” ~ Charles Bower

From The Suicide Squad

I took a few but did not post more than one of the tail section. Seeing I am laid up with a broken leg, and reviewing my pictures, I decided that this is also worth a posting. It ain't pretty but I think it conveys the feeling I get from the place.

From the 2021 movie The Suicide Squad. This guy really worked on the "willing suspension of disbelief" as I had to honestly do a double-take to make sure it was not John Cena (the actor) pranking us at the con.

UPDATE August 2023: Finally found out who the cosplayer is. This is Mooty Vision. I was recently at Cosplay World Convention and Mooty Vision was one of the guests. He is using this image as part of the banner display at his table. I honestly "squee'ed' when I saw one of my images being used by him (in a good way)!

A total of 15 were built under license in the United States by Fairchild Industries, for use during the Vietnam War in the early 1970s. All aircraft were later sold to the Royal Thai Air Force.
