When I spend time on my PC flirkring around, Moonie likes to sit on the table next to the monitor. Can be a bit distracting, as she can really stare intense!
FX61AAJ is one of PC Coaches new Wright StreetLites - I was denied a ride on it by the driver, who told me she had no change. Now, I'm a bit confused about that, because although the fact she had no change understandable, should there not a) be a float, or b) be some kind of change voucher system like on Stagecoach? At the end of the day, denying the right to travel isn't the way to do it.
Update: P.C. Coaches' Operations Manager has now informed me that as an apology for the above incident, I'll be given a free ten trip ticket for the service - many thanks to them, full marks!

Sadly, my poor old pc decided that it had had enough and needed to take a vacation. Permanently!
So I will be back hopefully with a nice shiny new one as soon as possible (thinking within a month).

The end for the Dutch PC-7 is in sight. It's successor has already been chosen: the PC-7MKX (mark 10). Eight will arrive in 2027.
Our Officer PC Nadeem has been presented with the John Egerton Trophy for showing tremendous bravery when he jumped into the freezing cold River Irwell to save a member of the public from drowning.
The John Egerton Trophy is awarded annually to one of our officers who has performed an exceptional act of valour. The award is named after PC John Egerton, who was killed in the line of duty on 11 March 1982, aged 20.
In February 2018 PC Nadeem, despite not being a strong swimmer, made the split second decision to jump from an eight foot drop into the river in his heavy police gear, after a man he was trying to help fell in.
Despite the freezing temperatures, Nadeem managed to grab the man and pull him to the safety until a ladder was lowered to get them out of the water.
They were both checked over by paramedics and PC Nadeem was back on duty the next day.
