Walking around my neighborhood in Kearny, New Jersey, I found the location of one of the most popular TV Series: The Sopranos. This was very special for me. Was the first time that I saw something like that. Really fantastic. I saw all the crew and actors: Tony Soprano and part of his family....

Tony Sirico, the actor who played “Paulie Walnuts” Gualtieri on the American drama series, “The Sopranos” died the other day at age 79. In his honor, we are highlighting the historic Mulberry Street Bar in the Little Italy 🇮🇹 of Manhattan where scenes from “The Sopranos” featuring the interior of the Averna Social Club were filmed. Mulberry Street Bar was a wonderful choice as it retains much of its original interior since it opened in 1908 including the towering ornate wooden back bar which is inset with mirrors as well as a pressed tin ceiling and inlaid tile floor.

"...I was born, grew up, spent a few years in the army, a few more in the can and here I am, a half o' wise guy." - Paulie Walnuts
What kind of bird is this little bare-assed guy? He looks like Paulie with his pants down.
If they weren't going to whack anybody they should have at least ended the show with this as the final scene. This seems so representative of Tony, 2/3rds darkness, one third light, not much in the shades of gray catagory.
I told Andrea I would dress up and start my 365 Days with a picture of me dressed as one of the characters from The Sopranos to mark the end of our favourite show.
I was going to try to dress as Ginny Sack, I have the figure for it but not the nails. I was going to try Janice but really, it's too easy because I look like her already. Lesley seemed excited by the prospect of Paulie Walnuts so.....
What will I do without the prospect of new stories from The Sopranos to fill my life?
A Shakespeare Sunday birthday bada bing to Brooklyn boy Tony Sirico, born Genaro Anthony Sirico on July 29, 1952. Except for voicing Family Guy's Vinny the dog (also of questionable pedigree), Sirico has played a string of mobsters in numerous films great and small, but got made as The Sopranos' enforcer "Paulie Walnuts" Gualtieri.
Tony Sirico, aka Paulie Walnuts, just moments before he took the stage to say "Bullshit!" a half-dozen times. He was introducing Gavin Rossdale's new band, so it wasn't too inappropriate.
