I originally posted this image back in February 2009 - (have I been on flickr that long? - my goodness time flies). Today, it's views tipped over the 10,000 views - hardly any comments or faves, but I know that many have used this image under the creative commons license that it was issued under for incorporation in their own works.
So - this is a bragging repost to thank everyone who has taken the time over these years to view, comment and fave my work.

Found two of them together in my rhododendrons this morning. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eacles_imperialis There’s a very interesting photo in the Wikipedia description that shows how they’ve evolved to look like dead leaves. In fact, I pulled them off of the rhododendron because I thought they were dead leaves:(
