This pattern is likely the most useful for adjusting your HDTV. It consists of two groups of three concentric circles against an 18% gray background. The left starts at black and progresses in two 5% linear steps. The left one starts at white and decreases in two 5% linear steps.
On a properly-adjusted TV you should be able to distinguish each of the steps.
Part of an "Amish Boy and Dog" pattern. As we have a new puppy, I have a feeling we will be making lots of these little guys!
Another basalt pattern from the North Wall of the Ancient Lakes Coulee. The imprints of our geological past here, can be read by skilled geologists (of which I am not one). I'd love to have this blogged though to understand what went on here.
"Tanjung Burung" is a location near Jakarta, around 2 hours trip. You need to hire a small long boat to enjoy the view there. While cruising the river down to the sea you can see lot of fishing spot.
Vegetation & wildlife is one of the key elements there. So although the sky is flat you can still take a picture of wild birds or vegetation.

Interesting oil pattern on a puddle. Looks like a combination of Smale type fold-bend-compression and hydrodynamic fingering.
My gurus asked me to take this shot. I can see why. Rows and rows of crystal-like glasses making a pattern.
