Image from trip to the Smith-Gilbert Gardens in Kennesaw, GA. Wonderful place with about 16 acres of gardens.
Besides other enjoyable things this two weeks bring Fr Hopper family and a pattern font or two much more closer to release date.

I need to check my notes on where this is from. I know it's from a tomb in Delhi. An old man roped us in to a guided tour of the tomb (actually, he just followed us around and told us about everything). He was insistent we see the patterns of light that appeared at the right time of day.

More macro shots from the X100s. I love how this turned out, both the pattern and the dual tone colors.
Technical details:
Fuji X100s: Macro mode, 1/60 sec at f/5.6, ISO 200. Shot as JPEG with Astia film simulation. Post processing Lightroom 4, where I increased the clarity, vibrance and saturation. Also did some curves adjustments to make it 'pop' a bit more.
watercolor, based on an arabic tesselation. I shifted colors to get different areas to emerge or recede.

Being shot vertically, this photo can end up being an optical illusion, as the brain struggles to see if the darker areas are raised or depressed (they are raised). I can look at it two times, and see it in two different ways (it does my head in)! Which way do you see it?
Here are a couple of patterns that I recently made. I had so much fun drawing just simple doodles and playing around with them! I love patterns, can´t wait to make more!
A MILLION THANKS TO ALL THE COMMENTS LEFT IN THE LAST 2 MONTHS AND ALSO AN APOLOGY FOR NOT ANSWERING TO YOUR SWEET WORDS. THE LAST TIMES HAVE BEEN PRETTY BUSY AND I DIDN´T CHECK FLICKR. THANK YOU!♥♥♥♥
