Salt pan patterns in Salinas, Peru, way high up in the Andes. The salt cultivation predates even Inca times and are still used today.
Oh man, did I REALLY just type that?
Guitars for Bricks Cascade in Portland next weekend.
Time to package them!
I didn't iron the details because I'm not sure if I'm satisfeid!
If you want to see, I posted 4 pictures before this one, with some differences in the front trees, in the VW Van, and is some windows.
Is there one of them that you liked more, dear partner?
I will be so glad to hear your opinion!
Now I'm thinking on the quilting!!!! I have no idea how to quilt it!!! :))))

One Bellevue Center is a cool building, but unfortunately the weather and light were not cooperating with my picture taking plans. Therefore, I decided to give a building abstract another go, having liked how my first attempt in Tacoma (view my "Overrepresentation" image for reference) panned out. The building had a really great silvery blue tint that I believed was perfect for this kind of image. For this capture I tried a slanted perspective and was really glad I did. This image is indicative of the type of patterns, colors, and architecture you can experience by experiencing Bellevue's buildings up close and personal. Enjoy!

I've bought the book "Die Form der Farben" after Marius posts some pics. I've starting with some simple pattern sketches.
Abstract on a textured pattern.
No story here. I went to the get my eyeglasses fixed before my impending trip and poked around a recently completed complex of sports fields to which I had previously never visited.
I thought I ought to start looking through my thousands of Swiss images that I have neglected from last spring before this year kicks in!!!
I particularly liked this one. A beautiful and quite different species.
The wing shape is easily recognised against other species like titania f. cypris mainly because it is smaller with more angled hindwing (at the v8)
As part of our spring clean, we've cleared out some of our old student-y mismatched plates and are making better use of some of my vintage treasures!
I adore the pattern on these lovely large dinner plates, bought in a charity shop years ago along with saucers, bowls and a teapot to match.
Fo any interested crockery geeks: these plates are stamped "Doverstone, Staffordshire, England" & the pattern is called "Canadiana".
