I could hardly sleep so I waited for the sun to come up and hung a doily in front of the sunlight to cast this lovely shadow. I have many more that I really liked that I'll post at a later time. I've had this idea for quite sometimes, but it would be so much easier to shoot if I had a model.

These are original, unprocessed shots from my favourite "sand pattern" beach, all taken on the same day. I've given each one a title that shows what the patterns suggest to me. All patterns are completely natural, created simply by the sand and the movement of water. Nature is the real artist here.

a while back...a long while back- summer 2008- I got a pattern from Here2There on Etsy and today I finally got around to finishing the top- now working on a pieced back using all the spare pieces from the front.

For sale in a market stall. Looks almost like a fabric or wallpaper pattern

now I have to choose the fabric combination. The middle front part of the skirt should be another fabric than the rest.

What do you think - Kitty or not? Am I too old for kitties on a skirt? Could a woman be ever too old for a kitty on her skirt? I really don´t know. I think I still feel like twenty-something and not like being 50 in three years... *sigh*!
