EN ESTE PALACIO DE DUEÑAS RESIDENCIA DE LA DUQUESA DE ALBA Y LUGAR EN DONDE CELEBRO HACE POCOS AÑOS SU TERCER MATRIMONIO, ERA SU RESIDENCIA FAVORITA DADA SU GRAN AFICION AL BAILE FLAMENCO Y A LA TAUROMAQUIA.
IN THIS PALACE OF OWNERS RESIDENCE OF THE DUCHESS OF ALBA AND PLACE WHERE CELEBRO HAS MADE A FEW YEARS AGO THIRD MARRIAGE, WAS THE FAVORITE RESIDENCE GIVEN HIS GREAT AFFECTION TO FLAMENCO DANCE AND TAUROMAQUIA.
The "Pati Valley" is the region formed by the course of the "Pati" river that cuts through the towns of Palmeiras, Andaraí and Mucugê, in the "Chapada Diamantina" and is entirely part of the Chapada Diamantina National Park. It is considered the third best trekking trail in the world. Geologically, the valley dates back to the Proterozoic period, whose sedimentary rocks formed a landscape with waterfalls, caves, hills and high walls of exceptional scenic beauty. In 2010, the Ministry of Tourism chose the Pati tour as the best itinerary in the country.

El patio del palacio cuenta con 32 columnas dóricas en su piso inferior y 32 jónicas en el superior. Hubo incluso que habilitar una nueva puerta – «De los Carros» – para poder transportarlas una a una, arrastradas por bueyes.
El Emperador Carlos V encargó la construcción de este palacio al gran pintor y arquitecto Pedro Machuca, discípulo de Miguel Ángel, quien empezó las obras en 1533.
Los Palacios Nazaríes son un conjunto de edificios que hizo erigir Muhammad V como residencia personal y para los servicios de la corte.
Aquí era donde los sultanes del siglo XIV recibían a sus súbditos.
El acceso a este patio y sala tiene su explicación. La estrecha puerta de arco de herradura obligaba al paso de una sola persona a la vez, de forma que la guardia podía controlar fácilmente su acceso.
Una vez pasado este control se accedía al Cuarto Dorado, que funcionaba como sala de espera.
Esta zona fue llamada así por el techo de madera pintado que cubre la sala

Pátio interior del Obispado de Córdoba.
Ese elefante ha estado en una fuente en medio de la nada echando agua por la trompa mas de mil años , pues es arabe y es de las pocas figuras de animales que los arabes hicieron en Córdoba junto con un cervatillo que es valiosisimo.

El edificio fue construido durante la primera mitad del siglo XVI por la familia de los Lujanes, cuyo escudo puede aún verse en los capiteles del patio. Con el traslado de la corte a Madrid fue destinado a alojar al Nuncio hasta mediados del siglo XVII, por ser uno de los palacios más importantes de la Villa. Desde esta fecha hasta mediados del siglo XIX sus propietarios fueron los condes de Paredes
El Pati dels Tarongers és un dels espais més coneguts i bonics del Palau de la Generalitat. De fet, es troba a la planta principal del Palau.
Per el Sant Jordi de 2022, el primer normal des del Covid19, varem anar a visitar el Palau de la Generalitat.

This is the Pati dels Tarongers (Orange garden), an irregularly shaped main floor terrace, ornated with several orange trees, as was usual in late-medieval palaces.
In Sant Jordi day (the patron saint of Catalonia) we went to visit the see of the Government of Catalonia, el Palau de la Generalitat, in Barcelona. It's an impressive mostly medieval building. As was typical of the times, it's not a purpose-built structure but a collection of re-used gothic palaces, that grew with the history of Catalonia.
