People are always asking how long it takes crafters to make things. They don't seem to understand the whole "put it down for two months and didn't touch it" part of the process, do they?
Two small placemats. Pieced in August. Quilted in September. Binding attached to the front in October. Binding hand-stitched down in January...into February. Total time working on them... a few hours?
Whereas in a couple weeks when I've finished I'll have made the entire 82" square Biggie Stars quilt in less than two full months. But many more hours.

A joint effort of a number of ladies from my dog forum. I have the job of putting the patches together. The finished blanket will have a fleece backing.

I changed the order of the patches umpteen times - the blanket remains a colourful mixture of styles. Goodness knows if the patches actually match each other!
To be auctioned off when finished (next couple of days) for my Romanian animal rescue project.

This is a swap of 12" log cabin squares. I only needed to create one block for one partner (thank goodness!), and I used a color scheme which she suggested. I hope she likes it, and I can't wait to receive mine!
No começo do mês fiz estes Mug Rugs, quiltei a xÃcara da cor pêssego e faltava a azul, fiz há alguns dias, mas daà resolvi fazer um detalhe na moldura, hoje completei o trabalho.
