This tufa formation is probably the most famous and most photographed at Mono Lake. On this night the sunset wasn't too dramatic looking in this direction but the pastel colors were beautiful.
Before anyone shouts Photoshop, I'm glad to tell this is just an optical illusion. All mods are about clearing few specs away + tone tweaking + sharpening in Lightroom. It's just your mind making the tricks ;-)

After posting a few loud images lately, I thought I better give your eyes a break! There are many types of hydrangea blossoms, but I found myself quite entranced with this pale variety's little pink freckles!
