Storm Dennis Pasta. As it's too miserable to go out today (15th Feb 2020) with the camera as Storm Dennis closes in, I spent an hour in the kitchen with 3 pasta shells. (Sad, I know!) Lumix G9 and Olympus 60mm macro lens
decadent pieces of foie gras top this angelhair pasta. sauce is made from red wine with pink peppercorns. You also get bits of mushrooms in the pasta.
Spaghetti with browned butter, herbs, cheese and balsamic roasted broccolini. It was my first time cooking spaghetti in about two years and I think I'm going to start making a lot more pastas. They're so easy and dang, so inexpensive. Also, browned butter is the bomb.

i've created a group www.flickr.com/groups/cooking_is_my_hobby/ to gather ideas and encourage myself to continue with healthy eating by learning from others if you're interested in cooking, sometimes or a lot, or enjoy the cooking of others, you're always welcome ...
It's a picture I took a while back. Didn't get time to post it. So here it is with the recipe that my mamaji shared with me.
Butterfly Pasta <--That is what I call it.
Ingredients:
1 box or packet of Farfella or any other pasta of you choice.
5-6 tablespoon of Butter
1 whole Onion (chopped)
2 Bell Pepper or Capsicum (different color pepper for colors to pop out.)
1/2 of the Pasta Sauce from the Jar.
6-7 tablespoons of Parmesan Cheese
3-4 tablespoons of Heavy Cream
Salt to taste
** You can add in other vegetables aswell since this is a basic recipe.**
Directions:
1. Put the Pasta to boil.
2. In a pan melt the butter and put in chopped Onions. Cook until they start to get brown.
3. Now put in the Pasta sauce in the pan. Cook a bit.
4. After 3 minutes put in the Heavy cream, with Parmesan Cheese, and Salt to taste.
5. Few minutes later place in the chopped Capsicum or Bell Pepper.
6. Now drain out the water from the pasta, and add to the cooked sauce. Remember the pan should be big enough to hold all the pasta. (I messed up in this part..heh)
7. The Pasta will be ready in 5 minutes.
8. Serve, Eat and Enjoy!
