So not inspired today.....

Fusilli made of chick peas photographed on the hub with a cooking pot as reflector. Whenever I drop pasta outside the pot when cooking I think this looks so smart. But I couldn't translate it to a smart image.

To be clear about the size. GF Tesco Fusilli pasta 1 1/4 in. 31.75mm from end to end. Placed on a concave 'domed' base and spun.... just trying to make it more interesting! :-)

Macro Mondays - Pasta

For Macro Monday's theme: Dutch Angle

this was so good...i made the meatballs,but the sauce was bought.i unfortunately forgot the name of the brand,but it was a vegetable only sauce,with celery,carrot,zucchini,onions and tomato.

Spaghetti with browned butter, herbs, cheese and balsamic roasted broccolini. It was my first time cooking spaghetti in about two years and I think I'm going to start making a lot more pastas. They're so easy and dang, so inexpensive. Also, browned butter is the bomb.

Tomato is used to colour the red pasta and spinach for the green

IPastai vegan ravioli (spinach and vegan ricotta) cooked in a homemade tomato sauce (onion, garlic, shallot, a 400g tin of diced tomatoes; seasoned with 'Italian' herbs from GFresh, basil, oregano, a couple of dashes of curry powder for depth, a good splash of Maggi sauce, salt, pepper).

 

Topped with grated Parmesan, diced parsley and fresh basil leaves from the garden.
