It was yesterday. Late in the evening a huge passenger ship had just departed from the port.

STAVOREN - De "Mars" werd gebouwd in 1924 als zeilende kustvaarder. Na vele vaartochten op de Oostzee en langs de Engelse kust, werd deze stoere Groninger zeillogger in 1996 compleet gerenoveerd. Dit was nodig om er een passagiersschip van te maken die voldeed aan alle eisen voor veiligheid en comfort. Inmiddels vaart de Mars al weer geruime tijd op de Waddenzee en het IJsselmeer.

STAVOREN - The "Mars" was built in 1924 as a sailing coaster. After many cruises on the Baltic Sea and along the English coast, this sturdy Groningen sailing logger was completely renovated in 1996. This was necessary to turn it into a passenger ship that met all the requirements for safety and comfort. Meanwhile, the Mars has been sailing on the Wadden Sea and the IJsselmeer for quite some time.

The 86-year-old OCEANA, which is only 55 meters long, easily leaves the 35-year-old and four times longer BALMORAL behind.

観光客の減った横浜のホテルに宿泊して撮影してみた。朝の散歩中カモメにクッキーを投げてやると、カモメは一斉に飛び立ち私の周りを乱舞、怖いくらいだった。

(野生動物に餌をやるのはやめましょう..^^;)

We stayed at a hotel in Yokohama, where tourists are declining, and took a lot of pictures.

During the morning walk, I threw cookies at the gulls. Then the seagulls took off all at once. And flew crazy around me.

I was a little scared. .

Die Goethe ist rheinabwärts auf dem Weg nach Koblenz. Interessanterweise legt das Schiff in Fahrtrichtung an statt wie üblich, gegen die Strömung.

Der Raddampfer wurde 1913 in Dienst gestellt. In dieser Zeit ist nicht nur unendlich viel Wasser den Rhein hinabgeflossen, die GOETHE hat auch eine Menge erlebt.
