I made this for my baby girl's ninth birthday. Yes, her ninth birthday. I had a brain fart and and somehow made an "8" for the top! Had to scramble at the last minute to crank out a quick nine...but photos already taken. Anyway, lots of hand cutting, but made to match partyware.
Yay! I finally got to try out Callye's (sweetsugarbelle) design (green cookie w/ ladybug trails). These were requested for a baby shower. The ladybugs to match the nursery set and the others to match the partyware.
...nobody gets in my frame unless they wanna rassle and be on the receiving end of a Gia the power Gianerating Body SLAM!
Mod circles and Mom-to-be silohuette topper in gumpaste for this baby shower cake made to match partyware.
5" choc/choc chip/8" white almond and 5" white almond smash cake. Cakes coordinated with the partyware.
I used the partyware as inspiration for this *original design* of an iCarly birthday cake for two girls, ages 6 and 4. All fondant decorations except the computer, which is gumpaste; the little deco's on the computer screen were rolled out of tiny pieces of gumpaste too. Nov 2010 update - I am getting such a kick out of this cake. It was an original design and I've already seen at least 5 copycat cakes since I posted it in March. I love that! After utilizing so many others' cakes for inspiration, I finally came up with a cake OTHERS want to copy :-).
Sydney is celebrating her 8th birthday with an American Idol party. 5" white almond and 8" chocolate/choc chip cake made to coordinate with the partyware.
A dummy cake for display purposes. I have been approached by the owner of a shop which sell cupcakes, partyware etc and hosts childrens parties. She is going to have an album of my cakes to hopefully take orders on my behalf and this and the handbag will be displayed in her shop window.
Pretty and elegant...for the bride to be! The color scheme was based off the partyware from the shower. The little hanging hearts say "LOVE"...how appropriate!
Sneak Peak at my upcoming line of printable partyware!
These nautical inspired printables are a finished size of 2.5" and can be printed on Avery paper to use as stickers, or on cardstock to use as cupcake toppers.
found these at the back of my moms liquor cabinet about 2005. Cute, paper party decorations from the 1960s or 70s. Little paper fruit on wooden toothpicks.
I made this one for my friend Jennifer's daughter Faith. Bless her heart... she had 3 boys, then got her sweet Faithy... then another girl Halle. Such pretty children! Faith's currently crazy for Hello kitty and pink... so I matched the partyware.
