I have to give Karen all the credit for this one because she did it. I had no clue how to make this look like a drawing so I asked for her help and she just did it for me. I think I might love her!!!!

I turned the light toward this stretch mark because it wasn't really showing up in the photos I took. Not that I necessarily wanted to showcase it, but it's part of me. Just being real.
It’s been 5 months since my last pedicure.
The city of San Francisco is slowly opening up salons , gyms and museums.
Hopefully the virus is in control now, we will see.

I slipped on a tree root step while hiking near Lake Springfield and the dam on Ft Parker Lake on Thanksgiving Day evening...I hiked back down the 1/2+ mile trail, across a field and down the road to the rangers' station - a ranger gave me alift back to my shelter, brought me ice & checked on me three more times that night to make sure I was alright. It took me almost 2-1/2 hours to pack the Explorer and then I drove the three hours home to Houston...there is no cell reception where I was camping/hiking and there was no one else on the trail and it was almost sundown...you do what you have to do!
Just checking the temperature and pleased to say it is lovely and warm!!

so today at school there was a little sheet of paper with the pull off things on the bottom and the paper said "take what you need."
there were options such as self-control, peace, freedom. I chose strength, because that is what I need(ed). I don't know, but that little thing of paper has given me so much hope it's unreal. who knew what one slip of paper could do?

We had to leave the coast 25 years ago and at the time it was a traumatic change. Two of our kids have moved back and with their relocation comes the opportunity to return. And so I visit my old haunts and get reaquainted with things such as exotic beach driftwood which then were so much a part of me.

Part of me for MAM group...about ten years ago I had a part fail on my mountain bike which resulted in me hitting the ground pretty hard. My left wrist was the first thing to hit and it didn't like it..not one bit. Shattered both bones at the wrist into about twelve little pieces. The doc did what he could but it was pretty mangled. The inner bone is a little shorter now, hence this weird looking angle. This was the 2nd time I broke this arm, I've also broken my right arm twice as well. When you play hard you're gonna get hurt, it comes with the territory (as does arthritis :)
