Here's the booth at Supercomputing 2006, with the ILC demo running on the seven monitors. It's a bit dark, but you get the idea. This is before the show started.

This is just one of a bunch of pics I took at yesterday's Fermilab Photowalk at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. Just a handfull of pics to show off with more to come. The public spaces at Fermilab are neat and well worth a visit, but if you ever get the chance to go behind the scenes, at a place like this, TAKE IT! Fermilab, Batavia, IL

Laura and I thought it was funny that is this high tech facility there was a roll of aluminum foil sitting next to a bunch of parts.

Straight out of a sci-fi movie. This first accelerator starts the electrons on their ride to 1 trillion electron volts with a boost up to 750,000 electron volts. The next 4 accelerators do the rest of the job.
