Parkview Square is no doubt one of my favourite buildings of all time ever since the beginning when I first set my eyes on this modern yet most expensive structure in Singapore. I am very easily swayed by buildings designed in an Art Deco style like this and I'd always watch businessmen and women with envy as they enter this stunning piece of work whenever I pass by.
I distinctively remember how I got chased away by security guards just before I could barely set up my tripod four years ago due to the tight security there and because of that incident, I almost gave up the idea of shooting architectures ever again. This shot was created from the premises of DUO residences just across the road; not sure if it's because of its ideal composition or to escape the nagging security guards (maybe both?). Either way, I am still pleased with this final result and I hope to one day set foot into this building once I have mustered enough courage. ;)

This art-deco style building (24 floors) is one of the most expensive office building in Singapore.
The exterior surface of the building is cladded in brown granite, bronze, lacquer, and glass. There are gargoyles decorating the building’s exterior.
This shot is a vertical panorama, consisting of 3 shots. Actually each shot has been exposed 3 times (-2,0,2EV), then HDR tonemapped with Photomatix. Then I used Panorama Factory to stitch the 3 HDR shots. Unfortunately there is the unavoidable lens distortion (I used my telephoto lens at 18mm), because I was quite close to the building, on the other side of the street.
