The truth I do not stretch or shove
When I state that the dog is full of love.
I've also found, by actual test,
A wet dog is the lovingest.

This was taken earlier in the year at Southsea in Hampshire. It’s an area full of quirky little angles and unexpected views. If you like quirky and unexpected (and not everybody does) it’s worth a visit, camera in hand of course (P3071268_AP)
Well, our back garden really, but seemed to fit with the Blur theme!
I get up when I want
Except on Wednesdays
When I get rudely awakened by the dustmen

And I think about leaving the house

A brisk walk in one our local parks. I needed to clear my brain fog due to the excesses of the previous evening. Beer, wine and fizz followed by a nightcap of Honey JD.
No wonder my head felt like it had a small cannon going off every minute or so, coupled with tinnitus and dog breath.

“All the people
So many people
And they all go hand-in-hand
Hand-in-hand through their parklife”
Not the easiest of locations for railway photography, just prior to the train arriving there was a big green bus that completely blocked the view. In addition, with all the noise of the city it was quite hard to anticipate the train’s arrival!
The foreground scene was constantly changing with people getting on/off the bus, sometimes stopping to admire the trees. All part of this park’s Parklife!

The train is the 4L00 1558 Masborough to London Gateway intermodal working.
Hopefully not too blurred..... 67002 heads 1W96 Cardiff to Holyhead WAG past the country park at Newbridge. Thursday 6.8.15

Female Kingfisher perched on and fishing from the railings around the pond of the local park... I decided for a portrait orientation and shallow DOF to make sure this lovely lady stayed the star of the image whilst using the railings to create some interesting leading lines through foreground and background.
