Europarking
Europarking - popularly known as "de billen van Zanstra - (Zanstra's buns) was designed by Piet Zanstra and built in 1971.
The ground floor of this seven-storey parking facility is reserved for buses. The remaining six are connected to the street by two ramps for incoming and outgoing vehicles in the shape of a double spiral. Popular with skaters, the building took on an additional duty in 2002 when ten containers for housing the homeless were added to the ground floor.

The carnival has been a frequent motif in my fine-art photography for the last 15 years. I have traveled to many fairs and carnivals around the Midwest to take photos. This past weekend I noticed a Ferris wheel set up in the parking lot at the Columbia Mall parking lot in Columbia, Missouri. Later that evening, I loaded my gear and went up for some shots at sunset and dusk. The Ferris wheels at carnivals always take a long time to gather the passengers because it has to stop frequently to load and unload. As a result, it can take some time for the wheel to rotate for motion blur photos. If there are other rides nearby, you have to play the same kind of waiting game. After many shots, I captured this picture of the Ferris wheel and Yo-Yo in motion with ominous clouds in the background.
The photograph was taken with a Sony ILCE-7RM3 camera with a Sony FE 16-35mm F2.8 GM lens at ƒ/22.0 with a 6-second exposure at ISO 50. The processing was done with Adobe Lightroom CC.
