This is a "collection" that my son made for me when he was in preschool. My son is in the 3rd grade now. I think they were learning what collections were at the time.
We went around our house up in Georgia as we used to do in the fall, feeling the cold air starting to snip at our ears and noses and filtering through our light sweaters. We would collect all the odd bits that fell from the trees. This time my boy collected dried leaves and those poufy-looking things, and announced that these were his "ingredients" for the collection. We took them back to the house and together we strung the collection elements along with kitchen twine. I remember sitting on the breakfast nook with the afternoon sun sneaking in through the blinds to light up our workspace. The space in the kitchen was quiet except for our voices and the leaves russling and the scissors cutting through twine. I don't remember where Dad was.
At last my son presented me with a garland of precious leaves and poufy things and everything sweet that to me meant love.
I carried this "collection" with me throughout many moves, out of state from Georgia back home to Florida, and then three different houses ever since. It started to fall apart, and I put it back together several times, but its fragility can only be repaired and protected so much. It kinda started to fall apart faster than I could repair it. It was time to let it go.
I took this photo of it right before I finally let it go for good, It's gone now. I thought I could have kept it but really the leaves were too brittle. I kept one of the poufy things. This photo and this story are the legacies now left of a time and place that belong in the volumes of my own insignificant history.

Hello everyone, Now we are going to discuss such an interesting and most important topic about our parents. Parents, The word itself resembles true and unconditional love. Both Father and Mother always strive for our happiness. Every second they think about us. They are the most precious gift from God . They help us in every step of our life. They teach us to how to handle the situations.
From the moment the woman gave birth to child, Mother forgets about herself, she doesn't think about her own wellbeing. Every minute she thinks about her child's safety like what to do, what not to do.
Father takeup all the responsibilities of his child. He cares, supports his children in every situation, regardless of whether they do many wrong things. He always stands by our side and monitor us patiently what is right and what is wrong.
Parents always give us the things we adore when we ask them. They tolerate us patiently. Even though we grew up, they care, they love in the same manner they did when we are young.
Yet, the saddest thing happening nowadays is the majority of the individuals who got married or running with their busy scheduled life, Don't even care about their parents.
Parents sacrifice their whole life thinking about their children but these youngsters are in a position where they can't even spend a minute for their aging parents.
Don't avoid, disrespect your parents only because of them you are here remember this. Try to spend at least 10 minutes with your parents apart from your routine work schedule.
It means them alot when you talk with them. Do communicate with them, Do celebrate your weekends with them. Care aboutheir wellbeing, needs, show your affection to your aging parents.
