Parents move from Texas to Pennsylvania

This is a photo of one of the Phoebe parents feeding the babies. I had to take this from a, less than perfect, distance:-) I like the blend of manmade and natural elements here.

People are a part of the ecosystem. We are not separate-viewing from afar.

My grandfather used to take me on evening drives around his farm. From his vehicle, we viewed foxes playing without fear. They had adapted to the sounds and sights of machinery. They even thrived while the farmers worked around them!

At the risk of sounding political, I want everyone to know that ,from my experience, man and Nature CAN live in harmony. Those against manmade, "eco-friendly" projects in wild areas, may want to reconsider the anticipated negative effects on the animals.

Parents observe a child building a tower up, then knocking it down. The parents use sentences with the words “ The white rectangle is larger than the square blue container.”

Self esteem building is included as the parents affirm the child’s efforts with words like: Good job! And ‘Yes, you can build another tower again!’

Last December 19, before the start of the Christmas party for each class, the Parent Council held a raffle draw to raise funds to further improve the sound system of the Activity Center. It was fun raffle draw with lots of useful and exciting prizes like USB drives, power banks, memory cards, and more!

Our special thanks to the following Parent Council Members for their generously donating our raffle prizes:

Soliven Family: 5 Powerbanks

Marcos Family: 5 USB thumb drives and a laptop bag

Mrs Malon Malapit: Five Memory Cards

Mrs. Mary Grace Catbagan: a 500 pesos National Bookstore Gift Cheque

Mrs. Mary Charen de Jesus: 5 USB thumb drives

Mrs. Celin Mallari and Mrs. Analyn Faller: 4 Baskets of Groceries

Thank you so much Parent Council for your hard work and generosity making our Yuletide Raffle a success! Your support will help make the Activity Centre a much better place for our students. May your Christmas be filled with happiness and may God continue to bless you and your family this coming New Year!

I'm using Google Earth to track my parents flight and what happens when you get close the arriving airport? The data stops. And my parents are stuck forever.

:)

It was so wonderful having my parents visit in such a troubling time, its been so long since I have seen them.
