July 8, 2011 - 11:40am - Today was the last Space Shuttle launch we'll be seeing for a long time here in Central Florida.
Unfortunately it was very cloudy and I was not able to see it. So I put up some past launches pictures I took.
These are from my backyard. I've seen the shuttle go up tons of times and I still get excited every time it goes up. I always run outside to see it. You can see it from just about anywhere in Central Fla on a clear day. We were at Epcot one day (it was a night launch) and got to see it. That was pretty cool. It was also pretty funny to hear all the tourist "OMG what is that?" I wonder if they thought it was "Disney Magic" LOL!!
As kids my parents would take us over to Titiusville - over by the launch pad - to sit and wait and watch it go up. It's was sooo cool to see it and hear it up close.
Another cool part about the shuttle when it returns home it hits the earth's atmosphere and you get to hear the "Sonic Boom" - It scared the shit outta you sometimes. But it's always cool to hear it!!

when we are in public and things go bad and people start looking at me like i am the worst mother in the world.
Then I have to remember it's not about me, it's not about how I feel....
but it's hard...I used to be the one everyone called up and asked parenting advice
now they step back and stand with their arms folded shaking their heads... I can hear them sigh and tsk tsk and say things like "it's a shame"or "that poor girl"
or worse is when they tell me out loud what they think :(

This wouldve been my first proper ill piece, took me ten minutes to get this done and then some cunts had to come cruizin under the bridge at 10:30 at night. So we had to hide behind a wall for about five minutes and then when I came out to finish the biatch BASR got a call from his parents and we had to get the fuck home. It takes a lot of nesting material to keep a bald eagle’s nest clean and insulated. I am not sure which parent bald eagle this is, but he certainly has a large load of straw. To collect the material, the bird finds rows of the straw on the shoreline or sometimes on a sandbar. The eagle then flies across the patch, talons open, and snags the straw while flying. Reminds me of a plane catching the tail wire on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier.
