So this is my first band promo that I've done so far, and I think that I did an ok job, but I would really love to get some feeback on how this came out! :] I got a great opportunity to be able to shoot Vega Under Fire when they came down to Okeechobee FL!
Not only was it awesome that I got to a shoot a really great band, but they also dressed up as the Wizard of Oz as you can see! I was so stoked when they told me that's how they were going to dress, and I couldn't wait to do the shoot!
But I'm really liking how this shot came out, and I would love to get some comments and criticism! I hope everyone's digging it, and def go give Vega Under Fire a listen!

I was talking to Kristen Fancher about a week ago about doing a shoot together and we made it happen. There was about 8 wardrobe changes and crazy idea's, lots of "unique" poses going on ha, but all in all it was really fun and she did great! I got a bunch of shots out of it to use, and I'm stoked about it! Def will be seeing more of her down the line!

A while back me and Taylor Bouse re-shot for Ugmonk Clothing becuase she had put her extensions back in. These are two pictures that I never released but now I am, ha. I really like how the lighting and everything came out, I like them a lot, I would love to get some feedback on them good/bad I want to learn as much as I can to progress. So tell me what you think about them, and I'm sure that you all will be seeing more of Taylor not on a backdrop soon! :]

Me and Taylor went out to some locations up in Okeechobee today, it was a lot of fun we found a bunch of weird houses, and a still! It was sick, ha. We finally found this spot and were setting up and then my Vagabond || just stopped working completely. I have no idea what happened to it, but hopefully I can send it back in and get it fixed.
So we didn't really get to shoot what we had in mind, but we did some natural light stuff and scheduled to do some more studio/outside location shots very soon! :]
Would love to get some criticism, thanks everyone!

So I have not uploaded in a while, I have been really busy with school and everything and making sure that everything is set for my financial aid/graduation. But this is all over now and I am really stoked to jump back into everything. I will have a couple of shoots lined up for the VERY near future.
Recently I got my brand new Macbook Pro, yesterday.. ha. And I absolutely love it, it was the best decision that I have made yet. I need to thank my mom for putting money down on it for me since it is so expensive for a graduation present! :D But I graduate tomorrow, so I'm going to running around and getting everything done for that and after this weekend, the shoots will be flowing in!
Currently I am working on the photo's for the new upcoming Live to Love Summer line that will be released
THIS Friday, June 11th. I am stoked for everyone to see the shots, and the new products! They all look amazing and everyone is going to be really surprised with the new stuff that Taylor has come out with!
This is just a re-edit of on older photo that I took in like november of 2009. Since I don't have any new shoots to edit right now I decided to do some re edits, but this is gonna be a busy weekend, expect new work next week! :D

Well... I've been tagged again, which means I'll tell some facts about me in order to be a cool and easy going flickr contact.
Thanks Fran and Irena. I will tag some of you later, so feel free to follow this trend or not. It's 100% up to you, but it would be cool to know more about you... So, here I go...
1) I dislike those times when people project their own opinions on me just because they say they know me well enough. It's like being judged from other's experiences instead of my own. It's so hard to beat the hopelessness sometimes. Mostly when I feel I've worked so much opening some doors and building some bridges between us.
2) I don't like telling private and personal facts of my life everywhere. Only those ones who show real interest on my life they know the things I live, the way I try to live my life. However, I think I'm very open to tell my things to anyone. It's difficult to explain, actually...
3) I miss a lot of key persons. I hate to feel myself forgotten by them. I also miss some few persons I've known and they passed away.
4) I confess I've been virtually spyied. Actually I'm still being spyied. I can live with that even though I'd say it's pointless.
5) I fall in love everyday. It's all about fiction. The main sources are images and songs. It lasts some seconds... Then... Plop! [Nothing]
6) My mind can't perceive reality as raw as it is sometimes. No... I meant the most of the times it works that way. Reality is built and designed by my mind in such special way that my heart beats like dreams were beyond this stage. Fiction keeps me alive.
7) I'm excited because my life's changing so much. I'll live so many different and new things soon... Ahh... I can't believe it! I'll say more at the right time.
8) I'm friendly. I love knowing people. I promise. I come in peace. Take me to your leader! :-)
9) I'd like to find some mental excercises to improve the lack of concentration I feel sometimes. I hate drinking Redbull. I ENJOY coffee.
10) Hmmm... What else? I'd like to lose some weight. The last Christmas season meant family meetings and dinners once and again. I feel cold in my hands right now. I have to call my mother because today is her birthday. I need a loooooong hot shower! Ah! And I don't like noticing white hair on me. It's so frustrating sometimes...

This portrait is exclusively made with "flat circles" on a black background (please also see some details and the making). It took me some 9 days of intense work. I first made a photomontage using several references, then a digital painting and I finally applied my "digital circlist" technique (I placed each circle one by one, there is no automatic process). Every circle has a different color, a different tone and a different size. It's a time consuming method.
I wanted this image to reflect Eminem's personality. He may be a controversial and provocative singer, I think he's an extremely clever and interesting person, he always comes up with some completely amazing stuff, with new, powerful and unexpected lyrics and melodies. He is a talented poet of modern times.

Today was a very long but exiting day. It was only a half a day at school so getting off at 12 was nice, then coming home and setting up for the shoot from around 2-7 was def an experience haha, had to take off the fan on the ceiling and move a bunch of stuff out of there and into my room (which is still currently there) so now my room is extremely packed with junk, and I'm def not gonna move it back tonight.
But we had a bunch of people come over and it was a ton of fun, Teal was one of the the models that I was shooting with that day, and I have to say she was really good, and she was def killin it. It was a ton of fun! But I was shooting for this clothing company called "Ugmonk Clothing" go check him out HERE!
A friend of mine Zach Ramsey came over and we had a blast setting up more lights and trying out some different setups and filming with his amazing 5d mrk 2. ha.
But a big thanks for him letting me use some of his stuff during the shoot, my boom and beauty dish should be here by Monday! :] But go check out some of Zach's work I'm sure that he will have something up shortly!
I'm really stoked on how all these shots came out in the studio and you'll probably see a lot more studio work for a bit, but def have some on location shoots coming up when I get my new gear! :]

A friend of mine Zach Ramsey came over and we had a blast setting up more lights and trying out some different setups and filming with his amazing 5d mrk 2. ha.
But a big thanks for him letting me use some of his stuff during the shoot, my boom and beauty dish should be here by Monday! :] But go check out some of Zach's work I'm sure that he will have something up shortly!
I'm really stoked on how all these shots came out in the studio and you'll probably see a lot more studio work for a bit, but def have some on location shoots coming up when I get my new gear! :]

*For some reason I had to re size this down to get it to upload to Flickr, I don't know why but when I tried with original size it was taking so long, and I retried it like 4 times and it wouldn't go, does this happen to anyone else? It just started with me recently.

Today I got some awesome free breakfast at Denny's with my lovely gf Jeanine, it was very yummy. Then we headed off to school, my day was really easy, I def didn't do like anything at all school wise. Then after school Mike came over, we played some cod and chilled, then Taylor came over, we all ate Chinese and then began shooting.
We were probably shooting for a good 2 hours or so, we got all the shirts done that I needed and we did some other shots that we have been wanting to do. A lot of them came out great, I just need to work out some time to edit them all! lol
This is one of the shots that we got, I really dig how it came out on the grayish type background. Lemme know what ya think, I would love some criticism!

Hey everyone, sorry for the lack of uploads lately, I actually haven't had a shoot in quite a while. I have been so wrapped up in homework and school that it has been hard to do anything other than that lately. But im back at it and I have lined up a bunch of shoots, as well as getting a lot of editing done that I need to finish up so expect some more work during this week! :D
This is a shot from about a week ago, Taylor Bouse, Zach Ramsey, Mike Afonso, Fabo, Ricky, & Griffin all came over and we all chilled out, told some funny stories and had an awesome shoot where we all got some nice shots!
Next week I'm going to head off to NY/NJ! I can't wait, I'm so exited to go see my family, and also to go snowboarding again! The 2 things that suck is the car ride, and the fact that I won't be with my love for Christmas this year :[ But I'll be back for New Years! :D

So today I went to school, took some test and then started the next step on my project! Tomorrow is my prom and I am so stoked, I can't wait! But today some people were at my house finishing my kitchen and plumbing thought the house, stuff was everywhere and things were a wreck but I still managed to bang out a shoot!

Soooo, drove 30 miles to find out my cybersync transmitter broke, then woke up at 5:00 a.m. drove another 30 miles, to find out that Mike lost his V'4s... Then finally found old V2's and got to get some shots for this awesome sweater from Live to Love Apparel!
After all the things that has happened it was def more than compensated by how the shot came out! I'm really stoked about it, and go pick up the December issue of Substream Press Magazine! ;]
Live to Love apparel is going to be coming out with a new winter line that is going to consist of 2 shirts, 2 hoodies and a tote bag! So def keep checking back! Its set to release as early as Thanksgiving, or as late as early December!

This was another shot that i got of Kim when were were out in traditions the other day, Ive just spent a little time editing it because there were a few mistakes and things that i just didn't like about the shot but I think that it came out pretty sweet.
Me and mike had to show her how to jump into the air, haha. I have a bunch more, but i like this one the best because of her hair. ha

Today started off like any other day, rushing to school, trying not to be late to class, and trying to stay awake during lectures. I had two shoots lined up today and i was completely psyched because I haven't done a serious shoot for myself in a while now. One got canceled unfortunately but will be rescheduled for a date coming up soon! :]
Tonight however was definitely unique. My friend Alyssa came up from gardens to see one of my best friends Lisa, so us and a few other people got together and scoped out some places to shoot. After realizing i didn't have a transmitter and running back home to get it, we finally found this pretty sweet place!
We were all really goofing around having some laughs and of course snapping some pictures. This is on of the shots that i got, i really like how it came out, I'm thinking about going into more "depth" with the editing of this, but its going to have to wait till tomorrow at least because I am super tired.
And of course I cant forget driving across town to bring my GF a single egg, bahaha <3 but i got to see her and her doggy moosey :] So it was worth it!
Tomorrow hanging out with Josiah and Zack Ramsey! Can't wait, gonna be a sick shoot! =D Now time for sleep.

I'm doing this job where i take portraits of the 150 residents at a retirement community i guess you could say, its pretty fun, i just sit there for a couple hours, and take some pictures of the residents there. Most of them are nice people, and have short stories to tell, there was this couple that was married for 67 years, and you could really tell that they were in love.
I went down to Vero and get my new camera backpackkkk, so beastmode. :]
I NEEEEED to clean my sensor, should I do it myself?

So Saturday was the strobist meet-up, and I must say it was A LOT of fun! I had a great time and met a photographer who does great work, Zach Ramsey check him it out, he won't disappoint!
But Zach and I were paired up to shoot this model and we winded up doing 2 locations and 2 wardrobe changes, it was a lot of fun and we both got some great shots out of it! This is one of the locations that we were shooting at, I can't wait to start editing the shots, and I should have it up soon, so keep checking back!
&&&& I'm so psyched for this awesome studio thats going to be opening near me!

So today is the last day of winter break. All i want to do is relax, but I have some hmwrk that needs to be done for tomorrow :/ James Carrol, from this new up and coming band The Sweet Escape which is going to be hitting the studio in Febuary, came over and wanted to take a few shots. We set everything up and this is what we got, its very simple and clean but I like them, and I just wanted to start shooting again!
I've got a couple promo's lined up for this month so I'm really stoked about that, im exited to see what 2010 is going to bring and I know that im going to be making the best of whatever it throws at me, as should everyone else.
But I have some things planned for this week, hopefully everything follows through and I can get back into shooting daily again. And I have a lot of work to do with some more great clothing companies which everyone should be seeing very shortly! :]

Today was Tyler's birthday, he turned 17, so me and him decided that we should go out and shoot w/ some natty light. We went over to this park that I have been to before and messed around for a bit, James Carroll and Cate also came with us. It was a good thing that James brought his camera because my card went through the wash, and although it worked perfectly fine in my computer it didn't work in my camera -_- I thought it was odd but James let me use his for today.
I had an idea of what I wanted to do w/ 3 separate images, I thought that it would come out awesome but I kinda messed up w/ one of the shots so It was a no go, but I gladly will take these any day. Let me know what you guys think! Thanksss.
P.S. I edited these on James iMac, and they look nice and warm, but on my HP they little a little coldish, def colder than what I did, i guess ima go with the imac being correct?
