The Paramount Theatre is a live theatre venue located in Austin, Texas. The classical revival style structure was built in 1915. The building was listed in the National Register of Historic Places on June 23, 1976

I've had this photo in my head for a year and a half. The neon of the theatre, reflections off the other buildings, dusk lighting, and, most importantly, the wet road. This is located very close to my company's office, and I walk through here every day. Ever since we moved to this office in February of 2016 I've wanted this. Last night was when the ingredients came together and I was equipped to make the photo happen. It's not perfect and I may try it again at some point but I'm still pretty happy with the result.

Seattle's Paramount Theatre dates back to vaudeville, where a young Judy Garland performed with her sisters in the early 1930s.

Located on the Downtown Mall in Charlottesville, Virginia, the Paramount Theater operated as a movie theater from 1931 to 1974, reopening in 2004 to present live art performances as well as films. There are a number of other shots of the theater on my photostream, but I decided to add this one as well.
The Paramount Theatre, located in downtown Austin, Texas, opened in 1915 as a vaudeville house, becoming a movie theater during the 1920s. It was restored in the 1970s and now offers live performances as well as films. The marquee had included a vertical blade sign until the 1960s, and in honor of the theater's 100th anniversary, the blade in this shot was installed last year. Information from the theater's website.
