I'm still in love with this crappy toy camera I bought for a buck at a flea market, the shots have some sort of unpolished beauty to them.
Unfortunately I'm starting to have some trouble with it since a bit of it has fallen apart and the film winding mechanism isn't quite working as it should (the shutter advancing mechanism keeps slicing the sprockets at times). Hoping I can make it work så I can continue exploring the possibilities of this little thing.

A vivid display for the 'Miss You Much Leslie Exhibition' at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum, Shatin. Leslie Cheung (nickname: Gor Gor, meaning 'older brother') was a successful and much-loved singer (Monica) and actor (Farewell My Concubine), sadly taking his own life in 2003. This well-curated exhibition, featuring many personal artefacts, marked the 20th anniversary of his death.

I came across this field whilst out on a bike ride yesterday. From a distance I could just see shiny plastic. It was only when I got closer that I saw the very photogenic parallel lines. I was also lucky to get a very atmospheric sky with rain approaching. It was taken just outside Sherborne in Dorset.
The airport in Palma de Mallorca isn't really big but if you take time to hang around, there are a couple places worth a look at to take a few shots. This is one of them
I've been wanting to head back to Wynnum to photograph these poles for quite some time but either the tide was wrong or I was working so yesterday afternoon I decided to give it a go. To begin with I was knee deep in water and by the time I was finished I was standing in mud.
When I was coming out of the water a couple who had been walking along the esplanade called out to me to find out what this crazy lady had been doing. They told me that joggers, walkers and cyclists all were watching me wondering what on earth I had been doing. This my friends is what I was doing and unless you get there literally you don't get the shots. Ahhhh at least I gave them all something to talk about. :)
Don't tell me you're half-dead, too.
p.s. thank you for the testimonial :) You're far too kind to me.
Love the light this time of the day. The parallels lines of the stretch of sandy beach, the two banks of the lake where water meets land and the trees all caught my attention as I looked for a shot for the theme this week.
