Hand made paper step # 3: Pound into pulp- heard that expressions? So here it is- the shredded fibres from the soaked tree bark are pound into pulp, ready for casting as sheets of paper. This is the pulp right here. (Luang Prabang, Laos/ Lao PDR, April 2014)
well this is how our traditional suit looks a bit stylized though(the dress in original is longer and not so round.the models on dress and vest are different depending on the aera from which they comes-anyway the red color and wolf teeths on the vests are omnipresent,while the apron is not ) the tenis shoes are my contribution lol,they usually wear long black boots or lacquer shoes but i couldn't resist....
i don't know how to make the final touch-varnish it or just coat it with a diluted pva glue...i would go for the varnish but all my varnishes shines too much.

Toen we op RR lazen dat LOCON onderweg was maar weer even naar Helmond Brandevoort gegaan.Helaas zijn de bergen met zand weer verdwenen! Normaal rijdt LOCON 501 's nachts,maar nu eindelijk is 'n keer op de vroege zondag morgen. En de haak heeft hij de papierpulptrein en gaat verder naar het Oostenrijkse Amstetten>50071
At an early sunday morning we are standing in a very wet old cornfield when LOCON 501 is passing the 2 photografers. Train is going to Amstetten in Austria with a paperpulp train

This was a senior year art project, I roughly based him off the Gulper Eel, a deep sea eel known for its length and gigantic mouth. He is made of paper pulp pressed into a clay mold.
