Sketching in 3D is easy enough with computer software, but I like the tangibility of meatspace modeling. Paper, scissors, and Elmer's glue are pretty accessible for a kid like me who doesn't really have any experience putting things together outside of LEGO blocks.

I've always loved ferns, so tried my hand at a paper version. A little metallic paper here, a little copper chalk there... not as pretty as the real thing, but it will do.

This is a 1982 Alpina B7 which I modified by removing the Alpina side stripes, and changing the colour from blue to white. I kept the Alpina rims though...
The original PaperCraft Alpina in blue was downloaded from BMW Thailand...
I created this white version to 'reshoot' this photo by Gisela Giardino.
Now you can make your own 635!
Best printed on heavyweight paper (I used matte heavyweight photopaper/cardstock)
