Macro Mondays
Theme: Paper
Size: Less than 3x3 inches
Most of us would have experienced the unpleasant paper cut. So for this week's challenge, I fashioned a piece of paper to resemble a knife and cut up some chillies on a glass Petri dish. Not the sharpest of knife but I managed to get some chilli stains on it!
Two light sources; natural frontal light and a small LED torch backlighting.
Many thanks for your visit, comments and faves...it is always appreciated..
HMM
But it is the photo one of my children would have chosen for the just white paper macro Monday theme
really running late today for the entry, placed a few sheets of pastel colored paper and explore a few patterns and angles.
Again it was a lot of fun to play with this MM theme! Paper seems to be all around us, and there would be many more ideas to choose from.
I wanted to stay simple this time but couldn't refuse a little touch of colour and Bokeh balls 😉.
HMM to all participants 💙💙💙

Remember the way you made me feel
Such young love but
Something in me knew that it was real
Frozen in my head
Pictures I'm living through for now
Trying to remember all the good times
Our life was cutting through so loud
Memories are playing in my dull mind
I hate this part paper hearts
And I'll hold a piece of yours
Don't think I would just forget about it
Hoping that you won't forget about it
Everything is gray under these skies
Wet mascara
Hiding every cloud under a smile
When there's cameras
And I just can't reach out to tell you
That I always wonder what you're up to
Pictures I'm living through for now
Trying to remember all the good times
Our life was cutting through so loud
Memories are playing in my dull mind
I hate this part paper hearts
And I'll hold a piece of yours
Don't think I would just forget about it
Hoping that you won't forget
I live through pictures as if I was right there by your side
But you'll be good without me and if I could just give it some time
I'll be alright
Goodbye love you flew right by love
Pictures I'm living through for now
Trying to remember all the good times
Our life was cutting through so loud
Memories are playing in my dull mind
I hate this part paper hearts
And I'll hold a piece of yours
Don't think I would just forget about it
Hoping that you won't forget
Paper wasps (Polistes sp.) get their common name from the paper-like material out of which they make their nests. Paper wasps are sometimes called umbrella wasps, after the shape of their distinctive nests.
Paper Tulips never wither
Neither do they sweat nor shiver
But they won’t live forever
Not even in the nicest weather
So please enjoy them
NOW Or NEVER ….

"""Late last night, I came home and saw something blue lying by the front door. When I got closer, I saw that it was a witch's hat. But when I tried to pick it up, it suddenly moved!!
At first, I thought it was a gust of wind... but the same thing happened on my second and third attempts, as if there was something under the hat... I also heard a high-pitched giggling sound...
Now who played a trick on me…??
Is there perhaps someone who had the same experience?"""

This historic building is located just across the Androscoggin River from Brunswick in Topsham, Maine.
The Pejepscot Paper Company is a historic mill building located off U.S. 201 in Topsham, Maine, on the banks of the Androscoggin River, across from the town of Brunswick. Built in 1868, the building is one of the oldest surviving paper mill in the state. The building has been restored since the fire that took out the wooden building closest to Main St. It is now a mixed-use commercial property, housing the Sea Dog Brewing Company among other tenants.[Wikipedia]
