Okay, I debated long and hard about whether I should post this or not. I finally decided that if I was going to do it, tonight (Halloween) was the night. This is my daughter Jordan who graciously agreed to pose for this. This shot was taken in an abandoned warehouse about three months ago. The previous renter used this space for a Halloween Haunted House. He left the old hospital bed behind.
I apologize if this is too heavy and dark.

Here, I wait. The lip of the awning adds some comfort, crossed
legs and bent head make me appear appalled; emotion however
has torn up its pegs and vacated. I consider my upturned palms. Under me, the copper grass has the weight of the breeze on its back. The strands whisper to each other as they juggle its flow.
I applied for another job.
It's midnight. I worked ten hours. I JUST saw the post, but it closes soon and MIGHT close earlier if they get a lot of applicants. The site saved all my information from the last job so all I had to do was alter my personal statement. It happened too fast for me to think about. Now I am panicing i did something wrong. OR I will get an interview only to fail last minute. This job is perfect. Where I want to be, and PERMANENT, so I don't have to worry about working enough agency hours to make rent....It's TOO perfect. I am thinking something has to go wrong.
Please everyone cross your fingers. This would be beyond amazing if I got it.

HOLA !! HELLO!! WITAM !!! SALUTATIONS!!!
Today is a purple day at Color my World Daily and the theme at the fabulous Smile on Saturday! Group is emotion. So purple emotion is the theme today! And what is the best “purple” emotion ever? Panic attack, of course!
Wooden Mannequin is panicking!! Panic attack is the emotion here!! He cannot feel his legs anymore!! This is a serious problem, people!!! He was trying to get out of bed this morning and his legs were literally feeling like they are physically somewhere else and not with the rest of his body!
At first, he immediately thought about his excessive calorie’s intake from the day before…. Maybe the food he ate yesterday, didn’t love him as much as he did…
On second thought, maybe he overdid his yesterday’s training at the gym. First, he run an impressive 11,79km. It was his cardio and legs day so after the treadmill he immediately jumped on the stair master and climbed the equivalent of 64 stories…Wooden Mannequin is a very lousy driver (but he is a best passenger ever !!) and he hates taking the bus so he walked from the gym to his house…It was a 45 minutes’ walk !
After that he had to vacuum his home and do some laundry. At the end of the evening another walk: he had to pick up his kids from school… It is only a few streets away but adds to the whole mileage of the day. Then he went grocery shopping…and as we all know, grocery shopping adds a lot of steps to your daily step count…Yes, Wooden Mannequin is a little (A LOT!!) bit addicted to his Fitbit statistics…. Yesterday, he walked an impressive 39 000 steps!!! He can prove it: it is on his Fitbit. So maybe, just maybe his legs gave up and wanted out! And if he rests for a day or two everything will be back to normal including his legs…So the whole panic attack is only in his head? He is a hypochondriac so he panics very easily…Drama queen was his nick name in school… so maybe he should wait a little bit before calling the hospital and see if tomorrow his legs are back to normal…For today: no gym!

Today I've not tried anything clever with my photography all I've done is let it show the stupidity of the human race. WIth only a threat of strike action from the tanker drivers who deliver the fuel to our petrol stations (which they have to give seven days notice of before they actually strike, which they've not done as yet) everybody and his wife was out panic buying fuel today.
People are stupid, I've met and I know some remarkably intelligent individuals, but people as a collective are stupid!
Don’t panic. Another Flickr year passes, my twelfth. I’ve been here so long that it says I added my oldest friends “ages ago”. I took far fewer photos this year with my DSLR than any other time, instead depending on my iPhone most of the time. The iPhone camera has gotten so good, especially with its faux depth of field, it’s hard to justify carrying extra weight. If I have the inclination, I still pack a bunch of film cameras on a photo trip.

The Stringrays theme is the underwater version of the UFO theme: both brutal and far better equipped than the good guys. What a great color scheme! Dark bluish gray can't compete with how great dark gray looks with red.

From DC's new Young Animal imprint. Only the first issue is out, but it seems like it's gonna be an interesting series. Also I love Panic's design, though it's incredibly hard to recreate in lego.
