Spent Christmas day last year at Palo Duro Canyon in West Texas. I later learned that this is the biggest canyon in the US after the Grand Canyon

El cabo de Palos es un cabo de España en aguas del mar Mediterráneo, y una población que se encuentra

The Cape of Palos is a Cape of Spain in the waters of the Mediterranean Sea, and a population that is located in the municipality of Cartagena, in the Region of Murcia. Orographically, the cape is part of the last foothills of the Betic mountain ranges of the Nevado-Filábride complex formed by Palaeozoic micachists.
I imagine it was low tide but the waters were strangely missing from this part of the baylands, leaving only some puddles where seagulls bathed.
The Palo Verde (green stick) trees are growing their tiny green leaves. When the hot weather gets here, they will bloom and turn solid, bright yellow.

Went to Amarillo to do some shopping and had a little extra time to spare. Had never been to Palo Duro Canyon so took a little side trip and scoped it out. It was extremely hot and we didn't get to do any hiking. We enjoyed the views and look forward to going back.
