Palm Warblers are my favorite among the warblers, probably because they were the first warblers I could identify :-) But, of the hundreds of Palm Warblers I have seen in Florida and other States, I have never seen one in a palm tree. This one was seen at Magee Marsh, Ohio.
Perched above the bog, this little palm warbler seemed to be trying to decide if he wanted to get a bath or continue searching the willow for caterpillars. Just after this shot, he chose the bath. However, once bath time was over, back to the hunt he went.
Have a wonderful Wednesday and happy snapping.

Many thanks to all who take the time to view, comment and faved my images. Enjoy the day.
This little bird has caught what appears to be a newly hatched Pondhawk Dragonfly. I would love some input on the dragonfly, please. The Dragonfly is all green (face, wings, body, everything green and soft, new looking. Photographed at Paynes Prairie State Park, Gainesville Florida.
Although, I did get some shots (not posted on Flickr) of this bird last year for the first time, this is easily my best one of it so far.

This image was the last image I took with the D500. Oh, the long walks on the beach, sunrises over the ocean, just short of 300 birds, lots of bugs, getting wacked by a wave years ago.... The memories will live for ever. Well, at least a day. New gas yesterday.
A Palm Warbler at Oscar Scherer State Park stopped to pose and gave me his best side!
Happy Wing Wednesday!
