It's not really a Prefab, it's more built recycling materials like shipping containers and wooden pallets. The aim of Infiniski is to propose cheap and quickly built houses. On their website, they propose many different shapes and configurations. The one presented here was built in Chile for 79,000 euros. It's made with two 40' shipping containers and two 20'.

A disassembled hardwood (oak and birch I think) pallet was rescued from a burn pile. Pieces were cut to length and glued together with oak pegs as invisible connections. The assembled table top was then planed and sanded to a consistent thickness before a linseed oil was applied as a finish. The table top was attached to a rectangular chrome table base (also discarded). My first project for 2012.

Matthias Loebermann built this beautiful pavilion out of 1300 shipping pallets and held them together using tie rods and pull straps for the Nordic Alpine Skiing World Championship in Oberstdorf, Germany. At night the interior was lit with a lamp and glare reflectors that brilliantly shine out through the pallets. This futurist pavillion measure 6 meters high, 8 meters wide and 18 meters long !

We nailed pallets together to do what I wanted to accomplish! This pallet hut is not finished just yet but close. We used all pallets, recycled tables and whatever we had laying around the house. We didn't have to buy anything!

I made this garden out of a wooden pallet that was on it's way to the landfill. Saw a blog post about it on a patio/balcony gardening blog. I love it!

Wood Pallet Projects: Cool and Easy-to-Make Projects for the Home and Garden by Chris Gleason

Inside you'll find 15 of his inspired projects for rescuing and repurposing pallets. Some of his pieces celebrate the rough, edgy character of the material, while others are crafted as fine furniture. He shows how to construct both indoor and outdoor furniture in a variety of styles, along with other useful items such as a birdhouse, a toolbox, and even a ukulele. There's plenty of nitty gritty here on working with pallets, including where to find them, how to process them into usable lumber, fasteners, sanding, and the best finishes (if any) to use.

www.1001pallets.com/2016/02/pallet-shoe-changing-storage-...

This is an all wood pallet bench. A friend saw the pallet furniture I made for my wife as a Christmas present this year and asked me to build her a shoe-changing bench. To get an approximate length from the top of her knee to the ground. Which was 20" she is a short woman. I wanted to be sure her feet would be flat on the ground and being able to give a seat height that does not pinch the knee or cause the back to ache.

This bench was made out of two pallets. By starting with the base of the bench and working up I added a shelf to store shoes the is a row in the back and a wide slanted front row. By far the most time consuming is the sanding. Now as I added the pecan stain the long sanding paid of by bringing out the wood grain and color.

After acquiring pallets from work I set out to use them , had no idea what for, but I couldn't let 12" full sided pallets just sit around. I started by driving T_post in the center of the pallets to hold the side walls up. Next I cut the back pallet to fit, then I attached the 50' cattle pallels to each side with scrap wood. Next I cut a 1/2'.sheet of plywood to fit the back wall, and secured it in place using.scrap 2x6 in side the rear pallet. Finally I spread the 12x 16.tarp on top, and secured it down using string, bungee cords.

www.1001pallets.com/2016/08/pallet-garden-swing/

I built this Pallet Garden Swing in about a week; I used two pallets and some additional lumber. This only cost around 25 dollars, too!

My Pallet Garden Swing - re-engineering on-the-fly:

Supplies needed: two pallets, 2"x 8"s on the seat and 1"x 4"s for the back and arm rest.

This was a challenging project because my mother wanted something else, to begin with, so I started building it and realized it would only fit one person. So I had to completely reorganize my thoughts - and some of the swing. But that's the beauty working with pallets: you CAN. If there is ever an error, you just find more.

I redesigned it to better fit my mother's idea. For the bottom, I just braced two 2"x 4" that I cut 4' long, with two 2"x 4"s cut to 22" long to form a rectangle. I used Grk 2-1/2" star-head screws for all the two by's; even on the seat.

After I had completed the seat portion of the project, I cut five 1x4s for the back support to mount vertically. I installed the 1x4's at the bottom on the back and used the same Grk 2- 1/2" star head screws. This made the back very sturdy. I put three screws in each one of the pieces. (It is best to pre-drill the holes before you screw into any pallet 1x3 or 1x4) That held the back supports very well.

After I had installed those, I chose some nice-looking deck boards to go across the length. I cut three pieces 4' long and measured them to keep them the same distance apart. I marked the vertical pieces so I wouldn't have to keep measuring. To attach these I used the same style of screws, but these Grk star bit screws were 1 1/2" long.

Finishing this Pallet Garden Swing:

And now for the sanding. Lots of sanding. I rounded over all of the sharp edges with the sander, both for the look and for the comfort factor. I then put two coats of Minwax golden oak stain on it, which I think was the hardest part!

I then went to the home depot and got two pieces of 8', 1/2" coil chain, and four screw-in eye bolts that I pre-drilled holes for in the 2x4s on the side of the swing. I got two eye bolts for the swing frame and the quick link connectors in place of S-link connectors and used eight total; 4 on each side.

I hung the chain down, marked it and cut it. I installed it to the eye bolts on the swing frame. The rest of the chain I hooked to the screw-in eye bolts on the swing, just hooking one side to the other. For safety (and the happiness of your back), I would suggest getting the help from another person when you hang the swing one side at a time. Good luck and God bless JVP.

I surprised an artist friend of mine, who had me do an art reproduction for her, when I asked her if I could borrow her pallet for a few days. You can see why I did.
