A 'next generation' snuff bottle painter in a historical hutong house.
We visited her Auntie and her in an arranged 'talk to the locals' sort of appointment.
I got to try painting the inside of a snuff bottle - neat!
This is my first attempt at a watercolour effect. I followed instructions I found on a web page, didn't like it, so changed a few things, but I still worked with four layers: the original plus three copies. Each layer got a different effect and property. See tags. The edge effect here is from the Polaroid Transfer effect on the first duplicated layer. The washing effect over it is from the last layer where I gave a Gaussian Blur with Hard Light Property. In between is brush strokes.
