This written material was conceived in 1993. I had Chekov's Gooseberries in mind. I was also reading lots of Harold Pinter. I also had just finished reading Jean Genet's "The Balcony". But mostly I had a lot of Harold Pinter's work in my heart when this was banged out on a typewriter. Yes, a typewriter. After all. it was 1993 and not a lot of people knew how to finagle word processor time at the library. At the very least, no one really knew computers were available for them. At the time Purchase College had computers limited only for faculty researchers.
