One by one, the Pack starts trickling in to enjoy the feast laid out. Ayr watching as always from afar.
"I spent the night before Thanksgiving working on my surprise - a few culinary favorites for the Pack including assorted meats, pies, roasted vegetables, and sweets. I even tried making haggis. Since I was not going to make any effort to locate a sheep's stomach, I made my version with casing instead. When I thought about it, I have many reasons to be thankful to the Pack. I don't know if I would be where I am nor who I am if I hadn't run into Ayr."

A 'meet the pack' day before the hunting season starts. A great foxhound pack and it was fun photographing them.
It took all day, but I am thrilled with how my proton pack came out. I repainted the entire thing a darker black. A mixture of flat black spray paint and chalkboard spray paint. I made my own labels to add a bit more to the pack. And luckily I did, because one of the decals ripped off when I took the masking tape off. I added fake lights and detail logos etc onto the wand and pack. I weathered the entire thing with silver paint to give it the appearance of the black paint wearing away. I put the iconic red wire on the top of the wand, using a red USB cable and some hot glue. I painted many little bits and fake screws that were just black, with a silver paint. And lastly I dirtied up the decals and some of the wire connectors. About 50 cars participate in the annual Pinewood Derby held by the Vicenza Cub Scout Pack 295 at the Caserma Del Din Sigholtz Center March 21.
Each boy started working with a parent to build his own car a few months ago.
Awards were presented in each category and the cars also competed for special categories showing off their unique designs.
