This is what you get when you don't train your kid on a pacifier--a six month old who finds the old pacifier in a box of toys and has NO CLUE that he's supposed to enjoy sticking the nipple in his mouth. If only I could have captured his total look of bewilderment you'd know why I had to take the photos.

First nap with her pacifier

My first idea was to use a pacifier to represent the absence of breast. And my black polished piano was the perfect surface to shoot on. But then I realized that I could use the reflexion to illustrate the fact that despite there being only one real pacifier, you could have two in the picture. The flower came in to add some background, and its round shape reminded of a breast (or a nipple). The final touch was just to rotate the result counter-clockwise and to adjust contrast and saturation a bit.

No photoshop involved :-)

Whichever color or size you choose, you can not go wrong with choosing Bibs pacifier’s for your new babe. Stock up, though! You don’t want to be left searching for that paci when your little one is having a meltdown! It’s a lifesaver!

Abigail spends at least a third of her time in the bath sucking on poor rubber ducky's head. I mean, what did those poor rubber duckies do to her?
