These darn things are such a big part of their lives sometimes that you just can't help capturing them.

Notice the pacci. She refused to take a pacifier when she was a baby and suddenly, at two, she decided that she loves them. I refuse to give her one but she knows that there's one at Mimi's house and that she can have it when she goes. It even has a special hiding place and Lydia goes and gets the pacci when we get there and then puts it back when we leave.

June '08 - Belgium

Came across this tree while walking through a park in Copenhagen. Toddlers are brought here to hang up their pacifier. When they miss it, they can come back and see it hanging in the garden.
