...at least they didn't leave the kid behind. This was found on a railing in a local park. So I took its picture.
This weekend marked a huge milestone for the little Roo. We boxed up her pacifiers (a.k.a. "Paci"), wrapped them in the paper of her choosing, then applied a bow she selected. Then, we encouraged her to pass them along to a friend's baby. She was jonesin' for a couple days, but was pretty excited that she was able to "help" little baby Tess. Her attitude through it all was awesome and we are very proud of our little girl and her newfound freedom from the Paci addiction.
We never considered pacifiers with our first born (Kit Kat), but it didn't seem like such a big deal for the Roo. That is, until she started acting like a heroine addict during withdrawals when travelling without one. As of this weekend, that chapter is now behind us :-)
