PA_556 [30 points]

This one is one of my favorite space invaders in Paris. Created in 2004 and desactivated in March 2012. But 2015 is the year of the re-activation of many space invaders in Paris. This one was among them in June 2015 and I realized that I never gave myself the opportunity to take a good close-up shot in full morning sunlight. Till now.

52 Weeks Project

An old space invader installed years before my space invader hunting era re-activated again...

Location: Paris 10ème

Coordinates: see geo-location on the photo, only visitble for contacts and friends on Flickr

Reason: In the night of 8 to 9 June more this PA_205 has been re-installed (let's call it 're-activated') by a space invader fan. This is one of the space invaders I have never seen 'active' because this PA_205 was destroyed long before I started to take photos of space invaders.

Some other re-activations last week took place by a fan together with nobody less than Invader. These are PA_556 (5ème), PA_997 (2ème), PA_839 (1èr), PA_924 (12ème) and PA_963 (3ème) and some more.

PA_205: The identity of this space invader. Date of invasion was 23/07/1999 and the score of this one is 20 points. The re-activation of this one took place on 08/06/2015.

One of my favorite Paris space invaders of the period when I started hunting for them. This one has the colors of the books l'Invasion de Paris and is therefor very recognizable as icon for his work.

The previous version made in 2004 has been deleted in 2012 after 8 years of activity. Very glad this location has been chosen to be re-activated. It's back again. Brandnew but created in 2004.

An outlined space invader with large tiles discovered by Tofz4u who found this invader still in cellophane meaning this one was really new and fresh when found on 23/04/2010. Estimated invasion date was stated 'just before 23/04/2010' at the time of discovery.
