Here the Locusta is being checked, refueled and prepared for the next mission, probably one of its main engines has been replaced or repaired.
I have been more in the sci-fi stuff mood lately so last month I decided to create a microscale diorama but somehow I didn't wanted it to use a spaceship 200 or 300 years from now, I wanted it to be closer to our time, based on a vehicle using new (future) and old (present) technology. The Locusta is meant for rough low altitude missions, mainly used for transport of troops, light vehicles and provisions.

This plane has a dark history: During the military dictatorship in Argentina (1976 - 1983) this plane, which used to belong to the Argentinean Naval Prefecture (registered PA-51) was said to have been used for "death flights" in which those who opposed the dictatorship were thrown off while flying over the ocean. The current government has requested this plane be returned to Argentina so it can be preserved in a museum. In late June 2023 it arrived to Aeroparque Jorge Newbery and there, a special ceremony was held.

28th November 2021 saw the roll-out of Phase 2 of Bus Connects. This covers the Lucan / Celbridge / Leixlip / Maynooth corridors and sees routes 25, 66, 66A, 66B, 66E, 67 and 239 replaced by new C-Spine, radial and local routes.
Route C1 operates from Sandymount to Adamstown Station and replaces former route 25A (and partially route 1). PA 51 is seen on Aston Quay with a service to Adamstown Station on the first day. 28/11/2021

Appearing in a gap in the trees, Pittsburgh & Ohio Central's Stowe crew shuffles some tank cars on the double track of the former PRR industrial trackage serving Stowe and McKees Rocks Bottoms. I think a few others have shot from here before; this is the PA-51 bridge connecting Bellevue and McKees Rocks.

A re-activated framed classic sized space invader of which I have never seen the original. The re-activation did again an outstanding job to make this one visible for the world.

Not gonna reveal how we got this from Target...we will say, Target Corporation is fully aware of how people are obtaining new toy lines before their "official" release date, you can expect much stricter enforcement from Target on future toy releases...
