≈ the fragrant cedar, evergreen, was revered by ancients ... the Cedars of Lebanon are sacred elders, some being as old as 3,500 years.
here is a very ancient cedar in the Chouf Region of the Mt. Lebanon range, Lebanon
at the Barouk Cedars Reserve ~ a sanctuary created to preserve the ancient growths.. and also to plant new cedars, so future generations may know their healing beauty.
≈≈ today is hansi's (trank_grappa's) birthday .. happy birthday, friend ~ this is for you.
because you love trees, especially ancient ones like the redwoods .. because this tree should make you feel very young, at 46! ... and because you too are an oxygen-giver.
so glad you were born .. ;-)
≈≈≈ sweet friends .. am not yet able to be back on flickr to relish your images... soon.
each of your expressions of kindness and your generosity of spirit mean so much..
you are a green bough in my heart... *
Lorenzo: the.. oxygen supply? but why would you turn that off?

Lizzy: nope, sorry. that crown is too pretty!
Lorenzo: can't.. breathe..
Curie: why do silly humans say obvious things? he can't breathe because his lungs need air!
Lizzy: and Jack said I was a simpleton
Lorenzo: you.. cold.. heartless..
(yeah. Lizzy's not entirely a good person)
(the Preston issue will be dealt with in the next series I post)
