An exciting visitor to Glasgow for this weekends GVVT Open Weekend was former Scottish Omnibuses AA620 OWS 620 a 1957 Bristol Lodekka LD6G/ ECW fully restored to SMT's green and cream livery.
AA620 is seen on George Street in Glasgow this afternoon on the free service from the Riverside Museum back to the Bridgeton Bus Garage.

So I went down to OWS the other day with the express intention of taking pictures for the Strang.ers Occupy Wall Street story. Unfortch, shooting protests just aint my thing. I barely shot half a roll of film. It wasnt that I wasnt motivated, it was the sheer preponderance of cameras, the uncomfortable crowding, and the fact that I am sort of sucky at photography. Anyways, what follows is about the only shots that werent total garbage. Regardless, I had an amazing time and believe strongly in the movement.

This girl clanged on a pot and was arrested after the police announced no more drumming would be allowed
First thing Monday morning just washing those men right out of my hair. See, I did comb my hair this week, with a cheap comb manufactured in China and inscribed with the words "Courtesy of Chuck Renslow." I really do feel like I need a haircut, and some life-cuts too, organizations, churches, etc. that I don't want to be part of anymore. My favorite television show is accepting applications for its next season right now, but since my favorite television show is Rupauls Drag Race then I need to schedule my full-body waxing before I make my audition tape.

Vicious bigotry isn't just an OWS problem. Most political activist groups on the right and on the left attract a fair share of bigots who will claim to be on their side. Unfortunately, very few of them are willing to disagree with and openly shout at these bigots.
This video is one of the few examples I've seen of people openly criticizing a vicious bigot who claims to be on their side. Even though it's rude, I wish more political activists on the Right and the Left were willing to stand up to the loudmouthed racists and misanthropes in their midst.
